We need your help to build a marineapedia of the Salish Sea. There are over 3000 animals that call the Salish Sea home. As a Citizen Scientist you can help us get to know these animals and their habitats!

Step 1:

Join Us! Sign up as a Citizen Scientist. You will be asked to enter your email address and will receive a password via email once you have submitted your info. You will have the option of changing your password after you log in to My Salish Sea.

Step 2:

Choose an animal to get to know. There are some animals listed below to help you get started, but feel free to choose an animal that is not on this list as long as it lives in the Salish Sea!

Step 3:

Click on create content (under the Navigation), then add new species account. This will take you to the page where you can enter the species information.

Step 4:

Enter the required information about your animal (remember this is a kid friendly site!)

Step 5:

Don't forget to save your information.

Step 6:

A My Salish Sea Oceaneer will review and approve content before it is published online.
